Behavioral Health and Intervention Social Workers
This position will serve Muscatine and Cedar Counties in Iowa and the surrounding areas.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of mental health diagnoses, symptoms, and effective treatment interventions
- Utilizes a holistic, strengths-based approach to working with clients
- Has the ability to execute individual treatment plans
- Understands and employs the importance of planning for client discharge from service onset and makes referrals and recommendations accordingly
- Ensures documentation is completed accurately and timely including the consent packet and releases of information
- Communicates with members of the client’s team regarding progress, lack of progress and recommendations and attends team meetings as applicable
- Maintain and document face-to-face contact in alignment with units authorized
- Documents and provides 90-day progress reports to referring worker and the family
Education/Training/Work Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work/Human Services related field from an accredited college/university with twenty (20) hours Child Mental Health Training; or
A Bachelor’s Degree in a non-Human Services field with thirty (30) hours Child Mental Health Training.
Possession of a valid Driver’s license with the state of residence.
